Sustainability was a high priority for Toyota Material Handling Europe at LogiMAT 2026. The company has been awarded Platinum rating by EcoVadis at both European and local level in Germany, putting it in the top 1% of organisations worldwide. This is achieved by a continuous process of improvement which was demonstrated at LogiMAT.
Key initiatives presented at the event include:
- A collaboration with SSAB, a Swedish-based steel manufacturer, to use low-carbon steel in a growing number of products.
- An interactive tools that allows visitors to explore different aspects of truck design to lean about how the company is exploring different ideas to further reduce carbon.
