Launched in September 2024, the FEM Autonomous Intralogistic Vehicles (AIV) Group is the leading European platform for manufacturers of Autonomous Intralogistics Vehicles (AIVs). The FEM AIV Group brings together manufacturers of cutting-edge intralogistics solutions (Automated Guided Vehicles, Autonomous Mobile Robots, Autonomous Case Robots, Automated Industrial Trucks…).
With 19 companies already engaged and participation growing, the group aims to develop common technical standards for performance, interfaces, and safety and Capture and analyse market trends through a dedicated statistical platform.
Key Milestones: Paris Meetings in May 2025
Composed of two dedicated committees—technical and statistical—the group will hold its first in-person meetings in Paris in May, marking a decisive step in promoting collaboration and innovation within the sector. The upcoming meetings in Paris will set the agenda for the group’s future work:
Statistical Committee Meeting (May 15, afternoon)
- Review initial data from the newly launched statistical platform (operational since January 2025)
- Discuss market insights on navigation technologies, handling equipment, and industry segments
Technical Committee Meeting (May 16, morning)
- Address critical technical challenges, including standardisation gaps and interoperability
- Define a roadmap for collaborative projects in 2025.
These sessions will be followed by a networking dinner, offering attendees a chance to connect with peers.
