The Autonomous Intralogistic Vehicles (AIV) Subgroup addresses various types of autonomous mobile equipment used as solutions for intralogistics flows: Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV), Autonomous Mobile, Robots (AMR), Autonomous Case Robots (ACR), Autonomous Intelligent, Vehicles (AIV), Self-Guided Vehicles (SGV), etc.

The AIV Subgroup is connected to FEM Product Groups Intralogistics Systems and Industrial Trucks.

Members

The Subgroup consists of manufacturers from Austria, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

Objectives

Apart from offering a forum for manufacturers to exchange, the Group pursues two main types of objectives:

  • Technical cooperation: the Group addresses a variety of technical issues with the aim of forging a common understanding in support of business development and fair competition.
  • Statistical exchange: the Group runs a statistical exercise aimed at capturing market trends in Europe, reflecting the characteristics of the AIV business
